CBAs Analysis: Round 10, 2025- AFL Fantasy

See who the winners and losers were in the CBAs over the weekend.

In AFL Fantasy, Centre Bounce Attendances (CBAs) are one of the most valuable indicators of a player’s role and scoring potential. Each week, changes in CBAs can signal role shifts, coaching adjustments, or evolving team strategies—all of which are crucial for fantasy coaches looking to stay ahead of the game. Each week, I’ll be selecting five key players whose midfield involvement is worth highlighting. For a more detailed breakdown of all the biggest movers, members can access our CBA analysis data tools here.

Oisin Mullin

Oisin Mullin saw the biggest uptick in centre bounce attendances this week, registering 20 CBAs – 80% of Geelong’s total. He was used as a tagger on Zak Butters, which helped secure him midfield minutes. However, given the role, it’s unlikely to translate into strong fantasy scoring. Whether he continues to get CBAs or not, it’s not something to get too excited about from a fantasy perspective.

Neil Erasmus

Neil Erasmus was finally used in the midfield on the weekend for Fremantle. He attended 14 centre bounces – a 43% increase from his last game. With the Dockers securing a win over a strong GWS outfit, this role could stick. He’s especially relevant given his forward status, which adds to his fantasy value.

Angus Sheldrick

Angus Sheldrick was recalled and immediately slotted into the midfield, attending 12 CBAs (52%) in Sydney’s clash with Carlton. While this role is promising, Callum Mills is likely to return in the next week or two, which could push Sheldrick out of the rotation. One to monitor, but don’t get carried away just yet.

Adam Cerra

Adam Cerra returned to the midfield after spending recent weeks in defence and not scoring as well. He attended 65% of Carlton’s centre bounces and responded with a huge 121-point game. It’s likely his move to defence last week was due to injuries in the backline, so if the Blues’ structure remains stable, he should hold his midfield spot.

Miles Bergman

Miles Bergman had a 46% decrease in CBA rate this week. He started in the midfield and was scoring well early, but was forced to return to defence after Port Adelaide lost multiple defenders to injury. His future midfield time hinges on who Port brings in this week. If players like Rory Atkins return and Logan Evans is retained, Bergman may be freed up to replace Jason Horne-Francis in the midfield over the next month. Fingers crossed.
