State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 10, 2023

  • Avatar photo

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

With a long injury list mounting at Carlton, Zac Fisher (150), Paddy Dow (132), Lochie O’Brien (130) and Jaxon Binns (123) will all be in the selection frame this week. Fisher led the way with 40 touches and a goal, while Dow had 36 and a goal. Binns has been very impressive this past month at VFL level and had 31 touches and kicked a goal.  Alex Cincotta (115) and Jack Silvagni (114) also had good games as they push for recalls. For the Swans, Angus Sheldrick (118) pushed his case for another crack at AFL level after finding 36 touches, while Dylan Stephens (117) proved he’s too good for the VFL with 35 touches and a goal.

I’m not sure what else Sam Flanders (126) has to do to gain a recall to the AFL side after another big game in the VFL. Flanders had 27 touches and 10 tackles in their big win over the Dogs. Charlie Constable (127) was the leading disposal winner with 35 touches, while Brandon Ellis (120) responded after being dropped with two goals and 22 touches. For the Dogs, Toby McLean (109) and Rhylee West (108) were their better players with McLean kicking one goal to go with his 30 touches and West having 23 touches and also kicking a goal.

Speaking of hard done by, Deven Robertson (144) had 25 touches and 21 tackles on the weekend for the Lions! Jarryd Lyons (132) continues to dominate with 34 touches and two goals, while Harry Sharp (111) also kicked two goals to go with his 23 disposals.

Hawks youngster Ned Long (169) put in one of the biggest Fantasy displays of the year so far with 38 touches, 12 tackles and three goals. Finn Maginness (116) also found plenty of the footy picking up 36 touches while Jack Scrimshaw (114) had 29 disposals across half back. Cooper Stephens (110) had his best game for his new club with 22 touches and two goals.

Around the grounds, Darcy Tucker (118) was the leading possession winner in the Roos/Pies clash with 31 touches and Tarryn Thomas (75) had 18 disposals. Marcus Winghager (120) continues to find tonnes of pill in the VFL collecting 37 touches and a goal, while Tom Campbell (116) had 22 touches, 21 hitouts and two goals. Oli Dempsey (104) responded after being dropped with 27 touches and a goal for the Cats.

SANFL

The forgotten Josh Sinn (104) had his best game at SANFL level with 24 disposals and 2 goals. Trent Dumont (96) continued to find plenty of the footy for the Magpies with 25 touches and a goal, while Brynn Teakle (93) led the way in the ruck with 19 hitouts and 20 disposals. Jase Burgoyne (88) was also solid picking up 24 touches.

Harry Schoenberg (104) keeps knocking on the door for an AFL recall after another good game winning 29 disposals. Matt Crouch (97) had 30 touches while Sam Berry (96) had one of his better games this year with 25 touches and a goal.

WAFL

Corey Wagner (129) had a game high 33 disposals for Peel Thunder in their win over West Perth while Liam Henry (102) was very good with 22 touches and 2 goals. Neil Erasmus (88) continued to find the footy at VFL level with 28 touches and Will Brodie (99) had 27 disposals.

Despite another big loss, Callum Jamieson (119) can hold his head high after his 22 disposal, 19 hitouts and one goal game. Zane Trew (99) was the leading disposals winner for the Eagles with 30 touches and a goal. Youngsters Campbell Chesser (61) and Elijah Hewett (52) had 15 and 14 touches respectively.
