The return of an Eagles big man could be a sign of changes in the West, while a few familiar names continue to knock on the door for an AFL recall.

Top Performers:

Rory Atkins (153) keeps dominating the VFL with another 40 disposal game. He patrolled the half back flank with ease, taking 13 marks.

Jarryd Lyons (145) had a new role in the Lions forward line which saw him have 22 touches and kick 4 goals from 7 scoring shots. He also had 8 tackles and only the one clearance.

Mitch Hardie (143) showed there is some young talent coming through down at the Cattery with his 37 disposal outing which included a goal.

Nick Bryan (133) could come in to give Goldy a rest as he’s in sensational form having 23 touches, 46 hitouts and kicking a major on the weekend.

Wade Derksen (131) was rock solid in defence for the Giants. The tall took 10 marks and had 29 disposals across half back.

Zane Trew (129) could get another chance at AFL level after a game high 36 touches for the Eagles.

Deven Robertson (128) thrived in the midfield for the Lions with 32 touches, 11 clearances and 1 goal

James Tunstill (127) continues to be a big watch for the future with 25 touches and 3 goals.

Ted Clohesy (127) has his best game for the Cats finishing with 26 touches, 2 goals and 8 tackles

Brayden Fiorini (125) like his teammate, Fiorini had a day out for the Suns with 37 disposals and a goal.

Tim Membrey (121) could very well see himself back at AFL level as he booted 6 goals in the Zebra’s win over Casey.

Brad Crouch (113) surely finds himself back in the senior side after back-to-back VFL games and gathering a team high 33 touches.

Neil Erasmus (111) could be the man to come in and give Nat Fyfe a rest in the Freo midfield, the talented youngster had 33 touches for Peel.

Will Brodie (110) is another who could be vying for a spot in the Dockers midfield after he had 24 touches, 9 tackles and a goal on the weekend.

Patrick Voss (110) would also be in contention for an AFL recall after kicking 5 goals in Peel Thunder’s win.

Hunter Clark (109) seems to be a forgotten Saint down at Moorabbin. He had 31 touches and seems wasted in the VFL.

Jaxon Binns (107) continues to put his hand up for an AFL recall after a team high 26 touches for the Blues

Andrew Gaff (93) wound back the clock in the WAFL picking up 34 touches in a win for the Eagles.

Matt Flynn (57) is a name to keep an eye on. The Eagles recruit had his first game back from injury in the WAFL and could be set for his Eagles debut in the coming weeks.

Round 12 Watchlist:

Rory Atkins: He’s been knocking on the door for weeks and with a few Suns having a down day against the Blues, is it time for Dimma to bring in a bit of experience to the Suns lineup?

Brad Crouch: The Saints cannot keep on keeping on with their same side. Crouch has had two weeks now to get his fitness back in the VFL and must come back into the AFL side.

Nick Bryan: There is a lot of talk around that Todd Goldstein may be due a rest after a big start to the season. Lucky for the Bombers, Bryan is in red hot form should he get the call up.
