State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 10, 2025

Each week, we track the standout AFL Fantasy scorers in the state leagues to identify potential cash cows, role changes, and possible inclusions. There were some big scores and intriguing role developments, especially where injuries or poor form could open the door for changes at AFL level.

VFL

Seamus Mitchell (146), Sam Butler (131), and Henry Hustwaite (108) all had huge games for Hawthorn in the VFL over the weekend. Given how poorly Hawthorn have played over the past fortnight, there’s a good chance that one or two of these guys might come in and get a shot at the top level.

Devon Robertson went back to the VFL after starting as the sub for Brisbane on Thursday night and picked up 31 disposals for 117 points. You’d think he’s close to breaking into the senior side. James Tunstill also continued his good form in the VFL, scoring 113 points.

Tom Mitchell got through another game in the VFL, playing full minutes and scoring 107 points from 29 disposals, three marks, and nine tackles. He’s still a chance to play AFL at some stage this season, though likely as a fringe or streaming option. Harry DeMattia backed up his big game last week with 94 points.

Vigo Visentini continued his strong run of form with 20 disposals, five tackles, and 58 hitouts for 129 points. With Todd Goldstein potentially needing a rest soon, Visentini could get an opportunity to debut. Dylan Shiel played more midfield time for Essendon in the VFL and scored 93 points. Darcy Parish also got through a full game and finished with 83 points.

Cam Guthrie continued his return from injury on managed minutes against Williamstown, finishing with 16 disposals and 45 points. Jack Martin also got through a full game, scoring 86 points from 22 disposals, six marks, and a tackle.

Connor Budarick was best on ground for Gold Coast, scoring 107 points from 29 disposals and 10 tackles. Ethan Read impressed with 94 points, playing in his forward/ruck role. He had 25 hitouts, 12 touches, and 12 tackles.

Harry Rowston (141), James Leake (134), and Connor Stone (121) all starred for GWS in their loss to Richmond. With Callan Ward going down injured, there could be opportunities for one of these guys. However, I feel Jacob Wehr might be the next man in, given that he’s played the wing role for GWS in the past. Josh Fahey also racked them up in the VFL with 22 kicks, two handballs, five marks, four tackles, and 102 points.

Judson Clarke had a big game for Richmond in the VFL, scoring 114 points from 27 disposals, eight marks, and two goals. Maurice Rioli, Jacob Blight, and James Trezise also posted solid scores in Richmond’s 12-point win over GWS.

Harry Boyd had a monster outing for the Sandringham Zebras, scoring 150 points on the back of 69 hitouts, 12 kicks, six handballs, and five tackles. He also benefited from nine free kicks. Hugo Garcia continued his push for a senior recall with 149 points, collecting 35 disposals and laying 12 tackles.

SANFL

Both the Crows and Port Adelaide had a bye in the SANFL this week.

WAFL

Liam Reidy had a big game for Peel Thunder, scoring 127 points. With Sean Darcy underperforming, there’s a slim chance he’s called up, but if Darcy is dropped, it’s more likely that Luke Jackson plays solo ruck with Reidy staying in the twos. Nathan O’Driscoll also played as he returns from injury, recording 21 disposals and 80 points.

Clay Hall (129 points) and Campbell Chesser (102 points) both had standout games for the Eagles, strengthening their case for a recall. Mid-season draftee Tom McCarthy also impressed with 26 disposals, five marks, and a tackle for 90 points. He could be a chance for AFL action soon.

Fantasy coaches should be keeping a close eye on state league performances for potential mid-season pick ups and dynasty gold.
