State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 13, 2023

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

Geelong’s youngsters led the way in their narrow win with Oli Dempsey (107) kicking 3 goals to go with his 25 disposals. Mitch Knevitt (96) who was unlucky to be dropped, had 20 touches 9 tackles. The experienced Brandon Parfitt (84) also had 20 touches.

Another week, another case of leather poisoning for Jarryd Lyons (135). The midfielder had 34 touches and 8 tackles. Noah Answerth (130) was prominent with 1 goal, 22 touches and 10 tackles while Tom Fullarton (116) kicked 2 goals. Youngster Harry Sharp (101) was also very good with 23 disposals and a goal. Dylan Stephens (88) was one of the Swans best with 28 touches after being sub in the AFL match.

A massive game from Giants utility James Peatling (148) who had 36 touches and a goal. Matt Flynn (120) kicked a goal to go with his 26 touches and 14 hitouts, while Isaac Cumming (100) had 29 touches. Josh Fahey (96) returned to form after a couple quiet AFL games with 22 touches.

After a big loss to the Blues, the Suns will seriously consider recalling Sam Flanders (173) and Brandon Ellis (153) after colossal games in the VFL. Flanders had 44 disposals and kicked two goals while Ellis had 37 touches and also kicked two. James Tsitas (115) also kicked two snags while helping himself to 27 touches, while Elijah Hollands (98) finally found some form again after a lean trot with 34 disposals.

Around the grounds, Ben Paton (109) was everywhere for the Dragons with 35 touches while Ivan Soldo (82) returned from injury with 13 touches and 32 hitouts. Jaxon Binns (112) continues to bang the door down for an AFL debut with a 32 disposal game, while George Hewett (100) got some game time under his belt after injury with 24 disposals. Darcy Tucker (131) and Aaron Hall (121) both had 37 disposals and both hit the scoreboard for the Roos.

SANFL

The ”sons of guns” led the way for the Magpies in their narrow loss to the Redlegs. Jase Burgoyne (115) and Jackson Mead (113) were prominent all day with Burgoyne having 25 touches and a goal, while Mead picked up 27 disposals. Francis Evans (81) kicked three goals, while Trent Dumont (95) had 19 touches and laid 12 tackles.

WAFL

Corey Wagner (80) was one of the better players for the Thunder 19 touches. Young ruckman Liam Reidy (90) had one of his best games of the year with 23 hitouts and 15 touches. However the day belonged to young key forward Sebit Kuek (96) who booted 6 goals.
