State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 16, 2023

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

Swans mid season recruit, Jack Buller (113) kicked a goal and had 23 touches in their loss to the Bulldogs. Dylan Stephens (110) continued his good VFL form with 33 disposals, while Matt Roberts (101) had 29 disposals. Toby McLean (108) was one of the best for the Dogs with 28 touches and a goal, while talented youngster, Harvey Gallagher (108) had 29 disposals and kicked two goals. 

Aaron Hall (147) turned back the clock with a 43 disposal game for the Roos, while Todd Goldstein (136) had 35 hitouts and 28 touches. Hugh Greenwood (128) had 24 touches and 13 tackles, while Charlie Lazzaro (113) had 28 disposals 

The Bombers beat the Cats on Sunday and all the talk was about the game of Elijah Tsatas (104). The youngster had 31 touches and 11 clearances in the win. Kaine Baldwin (115) and Massimo D’Ambrosio (84) both had 26 touches. For the Cats, Sam Menegola (113) continued his good run of form with 31 disposals.  

Around the grounds, Rhyan Mansell (126) kicked two goals and had 25 touches for the Tigers, while teammate Tyler Sonsie (98) had 27 touches and kicked a goal. Giants defender Cam Fleeton (118) had 25 touches and 13 marks in their win over Frankston.  

SANFL

Harry Schoenberg (127) continued his dominant SANFL season with 29 touches, 2 goals and 11 tackles against Glenelg. Matt Crouch (124) also found plenty of the footy with 34 touches. Untried youngster, Billy Dowling (103) had one of his best games with 24 touches, 12 tackles and a goal.  

Riley Bonner (167) had a monster game for the Magpies with 32 touches and two goals, while midfielder Hugh Jackson (126) had 26 touches and kicked three goals. 

WAFL

The Eagles finally had some AFL listed players back in their WAFL side and Xavier O’Neill (123) was one of their best with 32 touches. Isaiah Winder (103) had 28 touches, while Greg Clark (95) had 23 disposals. 

Young Dockers ruckman Liam Reidy (71) was one of the better players in a weakened Peel Thunder side. He had 7 touches and 39 hitouts in their loss.
