State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 18, 2023

  • Avatar photo

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

Gold Coast take claimed top spot on the VFL ladder and it was the regular names picking up bulk touches. Charlie Constable (131) had 34 touches, while Brayden Fiorini (129) had 32 touches and kicked a goal. James Tsitas (115) also kicked 1 goal and picked up 28 touches. Would be shocked if Deven Robertson (126) is still at the Lions next season after another big game with 1 goal and 34 touches while youngster Jaxon Prior (119) kicked a goal and had 26 touches.

Jaxon Binns (143) continued his incredible first season in senior football with 32 touches. Surely he gets an AFL game this year?! Jack Carroll (108) was also influential with 26 touches and a goal while Zac Fisher (93) picked up 30 disposals. Will Kelly (110) kicked three goals for the Pies, while Trent Bianco (105) had 32 touches.

Young Cats forward, Oli Dempsey (156) had an absolute day out kicking five goals and picking up 29 disposals in his side’s big win. Mitch Knevitt (153)showed his class with 28 touches and two goals, while Brandan Parfitt (131) had the ball on a string with 40 disposals.

Dylan Stephens (122) and Matt Roberts (94) were the leading possession winners in the Swans/Bombers clash with 33 touches each. Corey Warner (129) had 32 disposals, while Tom Hickey (114) had 27 hitouts and 25 touches. For the Bombers, Elijah Tsatas (93) may well have earned an AFL debut after another solid game with 22 touches.

Around the grounds, Jack Scrimshaw (123) had a game-high 31 disposals for the Hawks, while Denver Grainger-Barras (85) kicked five goals. Luke Dunstan (124) collected 39 disposals and Michael Hibberd (121) had 35 in the Demon’s narrow loss to Williamstown.

Elliott Himmelberg (139) was a force up forward in the SANFL showdown booting 4 goals, while Sam Berry (111) had one of his better games for the season with 28 touches. Riley Bonner (111) was one of Port’s best players with 28 touches, as was Jase Burgoyne (99) who also had 28 touches while Jackson Mead (102) had 24 touches and kicked a goal.
