State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 19, 2023

  • Avatar photo

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

In the Sydney VFL Derby, young Swans midfielders Matt Roberts (115) and Corey Warner (115) were standouts with 35 and 34 disposals respectively. Will Gould (110) played up forward and kicked four goals. Josh Fahey (93) picked up 26 touches and a goal for the Giants while Aaron Cadman (85) kicked three goals.

Toby McLean (110) was busy in the midfield for the Dogs collecting 31 touches and a goal and teammate Oskar Baker (92) kicked a goal and had 22 disposals. Dan Howe (123) was dominant kicking four goals to go with his 25 disposals while Hugh Greenwood (106) was his reliable self with 24 touches and 12 tackles.

Kaine Baldwin (115) had 27 touches and 12 marks across defense for the Bombers and Will Setterfield (87) had 20 touches in his return from injury but the biggest talking point will be Harley Reid’s (97) 23 disposal outing for the Essendon VFL side.

Jack Bytel (135) had a game high 35 disposals for the Zebras in their win over the Northern Bullants. Ruckman Tom Campbell (126) was dangerous all around the ground with 30 hitouts, 24 touches and a goal. Tim Membrey (114) kicked 4 goals upon his return from injury while Ben Paton (106) and Nick Coffield (93) both had 25 disposals.

Around the grounds, young Richmond midfielder Tyler Sonsie (115) had 31 disposals and 8 clearances in the Tigers loss to Williamstown while big Mason Cox (120) responded after his axing with 46 hitouts, 15 disposals and a goal.

SANFL

No games due to Byes.

WAFL

Peel Thunder comfortably won the WAFL Derby as Matt Taberner (76) kicked three goals and young ruckman Liam Reidy (107) had a standout game with 26 hitouts and two goals.
