The Easter weekend was a showcase of talent and excitement across the country as state leagues resumed with a flurry of big scores and standout performances. In these contests, a mix of seasoned campaigners and emerging young talents made their mark, demonstrating their potential value for AFL Fantasy teams. Among the notable highlights were familiar names who consistently found plenty of the football, showcasing their skills and reliability. At the same time, the emergence of exciting youngsters provided a glimpse into the future, offering AFL Fantasy players intriguing options for fantasy coaches.

Top Performers:

Billy Dowling (135): Putting his hand up for an AFL debut, Dowling impressed with 34 disposals and a goal, earning him best-on-ground honours for the Crows.

Andrew Gaff (136): Demonstrating his class, Gaff amassed 29 disposals and 9 tackles for West Coast with an AFL recall likely around the corner.

Rory Lobb (129): Boasting a five-goal haul, Lobb was instrumental in the Dogs’ win over the Demons, proving to be a potent force up forward.

James Harmes (128): Prominent in the midfield, Harmes recorded 33 disposals and kicked a major.

Riley Garcia (128): Continuing his good form, Garcia amassed 31 disposals and added a goal to his tally. While it will be tough to break into the Dogs midfield, Garcia is doing everything right at VFL level.

Neil Erasmus (123): Erasmus was sensational for Peel Thunder, collecting 36 disposals and finally be delivering on that junior fantasy pedigree.

Sam Naismith (124): Instrumental for the Tigers, Naismith contributed across the ground with 19 disposals, 17 hitouts, and 2 goals.

Finn Maginness (124): Everybody’s favourite tagger actually found the footy himself this week massing 28 disposals and kicking a goal.

Kane McAuliffe (120): Continued his impressive start to the VFL footy, McAuliffe starred with a game-high 30 disposals, suggesting an AFL debut might not be too far off.

Harvey Harrison (119): Among the Pies’ best, Harrison recorded 21 disposals, 9 tackles, and a goal.

Jarryd Lyons (110): Pushing for an AFL recall, Lyons amassed a game-high 33 disposals and just needs a bit of luck to break back into the Lions AFL side.

Kai Lohmann (113): Dangerous up forward, Lohmann kicked 4 goals and collected 17 disposals, proving to be a key contributor in attack.

Taylor Adams (106): Returning from injury, Adams made his presence felt with 21 disposals and 13 tackles.

Luke Nankervis (105): Making a case for an AFL recall, Nankervis gathered 26 disposals across half back.

Brodie Kemp (100): Responding after being dropped, Kemp contributed 19 disposals and kicked a goal for the Blues.

Round 4 Watchlist:

Billy Dowling: The Crows need to inject some youth into their side and Dowling couldn’t have played a blinder in the SANFL at a better time.

Andrew Gaff: The Eagles were woeful on Sunday afternoon. While Gaff is aging, the Eagles side desperately needs some class which Gaff brings.

Taylor Adams: After a loss to the Tigers, will there be appetite for change at the Swans? They may give Adams one more week in the VFL but if they do want to add a harder edge in the midfield, Adams is their man.

Luke Nankervis: With Wayne Milera going down with a season ending knee injury, Nankervis looks like the most likely replacement for him off half back.
