State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 21, 2023

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

Hawks big man Lloyd Meek (145) was monstrous in the middle with 41 hitouts, 25 touches and three goals. Talented youngster Cam Mackenzie (116) had 25 touches and 10 tackles while Lachie Bramble (99) had 22 disposals and kicked a couple goals.

Charlie Constable (119) had a game high 37 disposals for the Suns and Chris Burgess (119) booted eight goals in their big win over the Blues. Midfielder James Tsitas (111) had 25 touches and kicked a goal while Elijah Hollands (100) regained some form with 27 touches and a goal. For the Blues, Jaxon Binns (109) was once again a stand out with 26 touches.

Toby McLean (131) continues to fight for his AFL career with another good game in the VFL. McLean had 29 touches and kicked two goals in the Dogs big win. Jordon Sweet (124) had a day out in the ruck with 53 hitouts and snuck forward to kick a goal. Buku Khamis (109) kicked four goals and Hayden Crozier (101) had 30 touches.

Charlie Lazzaro (129) could be a player to target in next year’s drafts after his 35 disposal, 12 tackle game against the Tigers. Samson Ryan (106) was exceptional in the ruck for the Tigers with 33 hitouts and two goals, while Sam Banks (102) and Rhyan Mansell (100) also found plenty of footy with 23 and 19 touches respectively.  

Two contested bulls went head-to-head in Rhys Mathieson (119) and Luke Dunstan (127) with Brisbane coming out on top. Mathieson had 37 disposals, while Dunstan had 31 touches and kicked two goals.

Around the grounds, James Peatling (100) had a game high 29 disposals for the Giants and Reef McInnes (120) booted four goals in the Pies win over the Sharks. Nick Bryan (133) showed why he’s hot property with 42 hitouts, 23 touches and a goal while Will Setterfield (119) had 29 touches and kicked a major. Jack Hayes (106) booted 6 goals as he returns from serious injury for the Saints.

SANFL

Port played out a draw against South and Trent Dumont (104) led the way for the Magpies with 25 touches. Quinton Narkle (97) continued his excellent year with 23 touches and a goal, while forgotten forward Orazio Fantasia (86) kicked four goals.

The Crows midfielders had a day out against Sturt with Jackson Hately (131) and Lachie Sholl (124) the major ball winners with 28 and 29 touches a piece. Tyler Brown (107) had 16 touches and kicked a goal while Sam Berry (87) had 24 disposals.

WAFL

Isaiah Winder (104) and Rhett Bazzo (114) led the way for the Eagles through the middle with 29 and 27 touches respectively while ruckman Callum Jamieson (101) had 23 disposals himself to go along with his 15 hitouts.

Will Brodie (101) had a team high 31 touches for Peel Thunder thank to clean service from Liam Reidy (74) in the middle with his 28 hitouts. Nathan O’Driscoll (59) picked up 19 touches while Joel Hamling (81) took 12 marks in defence.
