State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 6, 2023

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

The Giants had a close win over Port Melbourne and Wade Derkson (109) was one of their best with 27 touches. Jake Riccardi (104) kicked four majors while Josh Fahey (94) continued his good VFL form with 20 touches and a goal.

After being dropped three Hawks responded in the best way possible including Lloyd Meek (129) who had 46 hitouts and 24 touches against the Demons. Connor Macdonald (103) was prolific with 29 touches and a goal while Cam McKenzie (95) had 28 touches. Jake Melksham (101) booted 5 goals for the Demons and James Harmes (83) had a team high 25 disposals.

The Suns absolutely annihilated the Tigers with 7 Suns players all registering triple figure scores. Connor Blakely (143) had a game high 31 touches, closely followed by Sam Flanders (122) who picked up 30 disposals returning from injury. Charlie Constable (122) had 29 touches and a goal, while Chris Burgess (142) booted five goals.

The other eye catching game of the round came from Jaxon Binns (115) who had 28 touches and a goal for the Blues.

SANFL

Jackson Hately (123) was the general in the midfield for the Crows picking up 31 touches and 3 goals, while Sam Berry (113) returned to form with 27 touches and a goal. As usual, Kieran Strachan (116) was a dominant force in the ruck with 33 hitouts and 18 touches, while Tariek Newchurch (114) had one of this best ever games kicking three goals.

Out of favour midfielder Trent Dumont (93) was the leading point scorer for the Magpies he had 20 touches while young midfielder Hugh Jackson (81) had a team high 22 disposals. Jackson Mead (69) kicked two goals while Scott Lycett (38) had minimal impact with 6 touches.

WAFL

Karl Worner (126) relished the responsibility of leading the midfield for Peel Thunder with 33 touches. The experienced Nathan Wilson (91) had 26 touches while Corey Wagner (57) picked up 16 disposals. Josh Treacy (84) took 10 marks and kicked a goal.

It was another dark day for the Eagles going down by over 100 points again with only Zane Trew (53), Callum Jamieson (69) and Harry Barnett (36) the AFL listed players involved.
