A couple forgotten young guns fired on the weekend while a gun Dog reminded his coach of his talent. 

Top Performers:

Jaxon Binns (171): The young Blue delivered one of the biggest scores of the season with a sensational 43 disposal game.

Rory Lobb (149): Dominant for the Dogs, Lobb contributed with 4 goals, 21 touches, and 28 hitouts.

Neil Erasmus (144): had the ball on a string with 38 touches for Peel Thunder.

Braeden Campbell (140): With 27 touches and 9 tackles, Campbell is a prime example of how good Sydney’s depth is now if he’s not playing AFL.

Rhyley Sanders (139): Sanders collected 42 disposals, 12 clearances, and a goal. Should be playing AFL each week, but you know. Bevo.

Xavier O’Halloran (135): Dominating in the midfield, O’Halloran amassed 31 disposals, 11 tackles, and a goa.

Josh Fahey (134): Pushing for AFL selection, Fahey impressed with a game-high 36 touches.

Andrew Gaff (133): Showing his class at WAFL level, Gaff contributed with 25 touches in the midfield.

Connor Budarick (132): Vying for an AFL recall, Budarick led the charge with a team-high 34 disposals.

Caleb Daniel (128): Daniel continues to prove he’s way too good for the VFL with 26 touches and 14 tackles.

Harry Rowston (121): Collected 23 touches and 10 tackles against Frankston, highlighting his potential as a Fantasy player of the future.

Charlie Dean (116): A general across half-back, Dean impressed with 14 marks and 27 disposals.

Kane McAuliffe (115): Making a strong case for AFL selection, McAuliffe contributed with two goals, 10 tackles, and 25 disposals.

Josh Ward (110) had another good game at VFL level with 29 disposals but now needs to translate that form in the AFL.

Jai Culley (104): Making a comeback from injury, Culley impressed with two goals and 25 touches, putting himself in contention for an AFL recall.

Billy Dowling (104) was once again a key player for the Crows in the SANFL. He had 21 touches, 10 tackles and a goal in their loss to Norwood.

Mattaes Phillipou (101) had 20 touches and 9 tackles and after the Saints woeful showing at AFL level he should be back in the senior side this week.

Zach Reid (100): Returning from an injury setback, Reid had 26 touches and 10 marks, which will make Bombers fans very happy.

Round 7 Watchlist:

Jai Culley: The Eagles really like Culley and now he’s had a few weeks in the WAFL, expect to see him back at AFL level earlier than not.

Caleb Daniel: Too good to be playing VFL. Bevo.

Mattaes Phillipou: You can’t lose to Hawthorn without making some changes. Phillipou is a genuine talent and needs to be given some consistent footy.

Rhyley Sanders: Obviously this kid is going to be a star. He should be playing at the top level but once again Bevo is a huge issue.

Kane McAuliffe: The Tigers are struggling and should be giving games to their youngsters. A fit McAuliffe should be given an extended crack at AFL level. Jack Graham’s injury only helps his selection chances.

Zach Reid: Was playing well before injury struck at AFL level. A bit of extra height in the Dons backline won’t go astray and they should be keen for Reid to get back into the senior side.
