We’re back with the state league fantasy scores for another week. Beast Mode went full beast mode, Fiorini dominates at VFL level again and WA’s biggest name makes a return via the WAFL.

VFL

Rhys Mathieson (167) put up the biggest Fantasy score of the round courtesy of his 49 disposal game in the VFL. The midfielder had 19 clearances and also slotted a goal in the Lions win. Mitch Robinson (129) was also dominant with 32 touches and a goal, while Ely Smith (127) had 29 touches and kicked 3 goals. 2021 draftee, James Tunstill (107) had his best game at VFL level finding 29 touches.

Brayden Fiorini (131) continues to push his case to become 2023’s Will Brodie, finding 35 touches against Collingwood. After Lachie Weller’s ACL injury on the weekend, Jack Bowes (119) looks a moral to come into the Suns’ side after his 39 disposal game. Sam Flanders (118) continues to dominate at VFL level with 31 touches and 2 goals, while Elijah Hollands (92) had another good game with 20 touches and a goal.

Week in, week out Ryan Clarke (158) continues to put up big scores in the VFL. 33 touches and 10 tackles for Clarke this week but he can’t break into the Swans lineup. Lewis Taylor (143) is another player in the same situation. He had 40 touches in their loss to the Demons. Will Gould (109) still is alive, he had 26 touches, while the dropped Trent Rivers (100) hit back with 26 touches for the Demons.

Around the grounds, Josh Schache (125) played up forward and kicked 5 goals which could be a sign of things to come for the Dogs in the coming weeks. Charlie Lazzaro (121) had one of his best games of the year with 26 touches and 7 tackles and in the same game, James Worpel (92) had 30 touches and 12 clearances. SANFL

SANFL

Nothing new in the SANFL with Kieran Strachan (123) dominating in the ruck for the Crows. The big man had 13 touches and 48 hitouts. Billy Frampton (104) was rock solid down back with 26 touches while Brayden Cook (93) put his name up for selection with 19 touches and a goal.

WAFL

It was a much hyped return for Nat Fyfe (82) on Saturday as he picked up 24 and touches and looked like he hasn’t missed a beat at all. Josh Treacy (134) was a genuine force up front for Peel, kicking three goals and clunking 14 marks.

It was a second week in the WAFL for Dom Sheed (94) who had a team high 27 touches. He was joined by Elliot Yeo (65) once again who was still finding touch at the lower level. Hugh Dixon (73) kicked a goal, while Luke Strnadica (82) had 31 hitouts in the ruck.

Are we still thinking Cook will make a good fantasy scorer in future? Worth the stash in a dynasty?

I think he’s worth a stash. Should get another run at AFL level before the season is done.
