This week in the Reserves it was Fiorini and Atkins up to their old tricks, Conway making Chris Scott pay and Colby McKercher back doing what he does best.
Top Performers:
Brayden Fiorini (138) was up to his usual ball winning ways with 33 touches, 8 clearances and a goal
Henry Smith (123) showed he’s ready to go if anything were to happen to OMac with 23 touches and 36 hitouts
Charlie Lazzaro (116) had a game high 31 disposals and won 8 clearances playing in the midfield
Jaidyn Stephenson (115) pushed his claims for an AFL recall winning 25 disposals
Rory Atkins (115) had the footy on a string as usual with 33 touches
Ned Moyle (106) celebrated signing a new contract with 37 hitouts, 16 touches and a goal
Marc Pittonet (109) is playing some good footy but with 24 touches, 21 hitouts and a goal
Colby McKercher (108) should walk straight back into the AFL side after his 31 disposal display against the Demons
Deven Robertson (107) keeps his name on the selection radar after a game high 33 disposals and 10 clearances
Harry Sharp (105) continues to improve this season with 22 touches and 3 goals
Will Lorenz (105) had his best game in his first year of senior footy having 21 touches, 7 clearances and kicking two goals for Port.
Zane Trew (103) found plenty of the footy for the Eagles with 32 touches and 5 tackles
Toby Conway (100) probably would have been better served in the AFL side this week but showed his class with 38 hitouts and 20 touches
Round 16 Watchlist:
Zac Taylor: had a great game for the Crows in the SANFL before the bye and an AFL debut could well and truly be on the cards for this talented youngster.
Toby Conway: demands a recall after Chris Scott lost his mind and decided to not play a ruckman against one of the hottest big men in the game on the weekend. Surely doesn’t make the same mistake twice.
Colby McKercher: had a game high 31 disposals in the twos and did everything he could coming back from injury. Automatic inclusion this week for the Roos.
