State League AFL Fantasy Scores – Week 11, 2023

  • Avatar photo

SANFL, WAFL and VFL fantasy scores are a must-have resource during the fantasy season, whether you’re into AFL Fantasy classic, draft, or keeper leagues. AFL-listed players that dominate the reserves competitions generally are the first in line to fill a need at the elite level, should a player get injured or fall out of form. The closer we monitor these performances, the faster we can get on the waiver wire and snap them up!

Below are the top scorers of the week that you should be paying attention to…

VFL

The hottest player in the VFL would have to be Sam Flanders (150) who just continues to find the footy. Flanders had 34 touches and kicked a goal in the Suns big win over Port Melbourne. Charlie Constable (110) is another who has been a ball magnet, finding 29 touches, while James Tsitas (109) and Jeremy Sharp (109) both had 27 disposals.

It’s unlikely Harry Morrison (138) will spend another week in the VFL after his 31 disposal game on the weekend. He was excellent, as was Cooper Stephens (114) who has started to find some form after a slow start to the year. Stephens had 25 touches and kicked two. Josh Ward (98) looks to have got some touch back as well with a 21 disposal match.

Daniel Howe (116) responded to his axing with a 30 disposal display against the Bombers while former Captain Ben Cunnington (92) had 23 touches. Nik Cox (79) continued to build his fitness base after a long injury layoff with 21 touches while Elijah Tsatas (62) kicked a goal and had 18 touches in his first senior game.

Around the grounds, the Blues perhaps missed a trick not selecting the in form Jaxon Binns (123) on Friday night. The youngster is in sensational form and had another 34 disposals on the weekend. Jack Bowes (96) made his return from injury through the VFL against the Bulldogs collecting 28 disposals in a game where Sam Darcy (85) was wasteful in front of goal kicking 1.5. Josh Schache (105) booted four goals for the Demons while James Jordon (105) had a team high 32 touches and a goal. Brand new Tiger as of Wednesday night James Trezise (93) had 17 touches.

SANFL

Crows midfielder Harry Schoenberg (128) had another great game in the SANFL with 26 touches, 11 tackles and 2 goals. Tom Doedee’s injury paves the way for an AFL return for Josh Worrell (89) who picked up 22 touches across half back. Lachie Gollant (85) kicked four goals, while Patrick Parnell (81) had 20 touches.

New Port recruit Quinton Narkle (123) wasted no time putting himself in the selection frame with a 29 disposal outing for the Magpies. Trent Dumont (112) continued to show he’s a cut above the rest with 32 touches and Power Captain Tom Jonas (71) had 17 touches and 5 marks.

WAFL

Will Brodie (85) was the leading possession winner for Peel Thunder with 30 touches on Sunday. Liam Henry (88) continues to impress collecting 23 touches, 6 tackles and a goal while Neil Erasmus (84) had 25 touches.

Young ruckman Harry Barnett (84) had his best game of the year with 11 touches, 2 goals and 26 hitouts while Campbell Chesser (62) had 19 touches.
